The team of CLINIC | DPC, the largest network of dental clinics in Lithuania, sends off 2022 with smiles. This year has not been without its challenges, but it has been full of good deeds and projects of value to the community. As always, the team’s focus was on social responsibility and professionalism.
CLINIC | DPC founder, implant surgeon Simonas Bankauskas, says that this year has been a year of solidarity and responsibility.
“After the pandemic that devastated all health workers, we expected an easier year, but it brought its own challenges. First of all, we rushed to stand in solidarity with Ukraine. I am glad that everyone was active in donating money, participating in Red Cross campaigns and collecting items. We donated part of the turnover of all 13 clinics to Blue/Yellow. We also provided emergency aid to Ukrainian war refugees. And to make sure that important information on social media spreads more smoothly at the start of the war, we suspended all our marketing campaigns. I think our employees have done everything to make us proud of our humanity and solidarity. And all the events of the past year have shown that we are strong together,” says Mr Bankauskas.
In 2022, CLINIC | DPC managed to maintain its position as the largest network of dental clinics in Lithuania. At the beginning of the year, the clinic chain became part of the investment fund “Innova Capital Group”. The year was also a successful one financially for the employees: the company no longer has a minimum wage, and the average salary has become – 42% higher than the national average. Without exception, the salary of every employee in the company was reviewed and increased.
CLINIC | DPC has also contributed to various social initiatives to promote good oral and dental care habits. CLINIC | DPC doctors actively educated children and adults on how to keep their teeth healthy for a long time. Educational sessions for children were held in various schools around the country, and seminars on implant and prosthetic treatments were organized for adults.
This year, the largest dental network focused on young patients, from education to supporting meaningful initiatives. It partnered with the non-profit organization “Projects for Children” to support their Christmas Games. Both as members of the collective and individually, they tried to discover and support beautiful initiatives. This year, for example, employees gave an unconventional birthday present to the company’s CEO by making a financial contribution to the “Nobody’s Children” initiative.
CLINIC | DPC also continues to pursue its sustainability policy. In the past, the company has done away with paper documents in its personnel management, and this year the company has digitized paper patient charts. The aim is to reduce the amount of paper used as much as possible. Patient information was also printed on recycled paper.
“There is no such thing as small or big good deeds – anything done for good reasons is meaningful. I am glad that this year at CLINIC | DPC has been full of kindness, respect for each other, commitment to our work and professionalism. I wish that the coming year will bring even more of that sense of meaning into our lives,” says Mr Bankauskas.
