What is the "All-on-4®" method?

The “All-on-4®” approach revolutionizes the entire treatment process, reducing treatment times and costs. This method avoids complicated bone augmentation procedures.

The unique “All-on-4®” treatment method is designed for people who have lost most or all of their teeth and were traditionally offered removable dentures. Using this method, only 4 implants are used to fully restore the teeth in one jaw, instead of the traditional 6-8 implants. This approach often helps avoid complex bone augmentation procedures.

The “All-on-4®” implantation method allows for the restoration of teeth when a patient has lost all their teeth or when the remaining ones need to be removed. This technique is a true scientific achievement, enabling the restoration of teeth in just one procedure. Only 4 implants are needed to support the dental arch, and a temporary fixed prosthesis is attached on the same day, offering a convenient and aesthetically pleasing solution that allows the patient to immediately enjoy a new smile. After about six months, when the implants have fully integrated, permanent teeth are placed.

Preparing for surgery:

Clothing

On the day of your treatment, arrive at the clinic wearing comfortable clothes. You will be in the clinic all day, so it is better if you are comfortable.

Instructions before surgery

Do not eat or drink “opaque” liquids (coffee, juices, smoothies, etc.) for at least 6 hours before surgery with anesthesia (sedation or intubation) and do not drink water for at least 2 hours before the procedure.

Instructions for taking medicines before surgery

If you are taking medication to correct your arterial blood pressure, take it at the usual time on the day of surgery (with a small amount of still water). If you are taking medication to regulate your blood clotting, be sure to inform your doctor at least 10 days before the operation.

The "All-on-4®" procedure steps:

Consultation

Developing and discussing a treatment plan.

Operation

Tooth extraction, removal of inflamed tissues, threading of implants. Surgery time 1-2 hours.

Prosthetics, fabrication of a temporary tooth on the implant. Impression-taking procedure.

On the day of surgery, measurements are taken for temporary prosthetics. Temporary teeth are fixed the same day or the next day.

Inspections

10-14 days after the operation, a check-up and suture removal procedure is performed. 2 months after surgery, follow-up examination.

Permanent prosthetics

Permanent prosthetics are done 4-6 months after the surgery. The temporary “All-on-4®” bridge is replaced with a permanent prosthesis. The permanent prosthesis features an internal metal or titanium structure that connects all four implants, redistributing the load force and reducing the risk of fractures.

Oral hygiene

Professional oral hygiene for patients with implants is performed every 6 months.
