What is Immediate Implantation?

Immediate implantation was developed to minimize the time required for dental implant procedures. It is a minimally invasive procedure, often performed without incisions in the gums. This method results in a lighter postoperative period—avoiding or minimizing swelling, pain, and bleeding commonly associated with traditional implant procedures. This allows patients to quickly return to their normal routine.

This method is an excellent solution for individuals who have one or more damaged teeth or have experienced dental trauma. Immediately after the procedure, a temporary dental crown can be placed on the implant, so patients do not need to worry about an unattractive appearance. This is particularly important for those who lose a tooth in the front dental area.

Advantages of Immediate Implantation

Ideal for those who do not want to spend even a day with a gap in their mouth.

Allows for immediate enjoyment of a new, aesthetic smile.

Patients typically experience no pain, and the gums remain non-swollen and free of bleeding.

A temporary, aesthetic tooth is immediately fixed onto the implant.

After the procedure, patients can return to their usual activities—smiling, chewing, and resuming work—without restriction.
