    The first stage of periodontal disease is gingivitis. He presents himself with bleeding gums, bad breath. Gingivitis treated in time is completely curable. If the patient does not consult a doctor, the disease progresses. Gum recession begins, damaged gums expose the root and neck of the tooth, resulting in constant tooth sensitivity. Gingivitis develops into a dangerous infection – periodontitis. This infection includes not only the gums, but also the hard tissues of the periodontium, bone.     • \u2013 smoking;<\/li>\n

      Treatment and prevention of periodontal diseases<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

      Mild periodontal damage can be cured by performing professional oral hygiene twice a year and taking proper care of oral hygiene at home. More severe periodontal diseases are treated surgically. The procedure is performed under anesthesia, so it does not cause much discomfort to the patient.
