“Innova Capital” Group’s alternative investment fund “Innova/6 SCA SICAV-RAIF”, which invests in Central and Eastern Europe, has acquired three companies operating in the dental services market – the Lithuanian network CLINIC | DPC and shares in “Dentaurus” and “Medicadent” clinics in Poland. The aim is to create a leading, independent regional dental group in collaboration with the renowned founding doctors. Initially consisting of 19 clinics located in Poland (6), Lithuania (12) and the UK (1), the group has around 70 dental departments and two prosthetics laboratories. The platform is a unique combination of medical and management expertise, scale and investor experience and has ambitious growth plans.
CLINIC | DPC is the largest network of dental clinics in Lithuania. Thanks to the highly qualified medical team led by Dr. Simonas Bankauskas, an experienced specialist and founder of CLINIC | DPC, modern equipment, professional approach to patients and a wide range of services, CLINIC | DPC has been able to provide the highest quality dental, prosthetic and surgical services to a group of more than 50 000 patients.
Dentaurus, with premises in Gdańsk and Toruń, is a leading dental clinic in the Pomorskie and Kujawsko-Pomorskie regions. It offers a full range of dental services and holds a leading position in the fields of implantology, prosthetics, endodontics and dental surgery, thanks to the expertise of the team brought together and led by Dr Jacek Owczarczak.
“Medicadent”, with its clinics in Poznań, Luboń and Wolsętown, offers a full range of dental services and is a leader in paediatric dentistry in the Greater Poland region. “Medicadent” owes its reputation to the team created by Dr Monika Gawlas and Dr Jacek Lorych.
All the Group’s entities have confirmed their unique quality by demonstrating a high degree of resilience to the negative external factors and challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
By applying the experience of exceptional medical teams and their leaders, economies of scale, management expertise and best operational practices from Western European and CEE markets, the Group will offer patients new quality, unique development opportunities for the medical staff and an attractive alternative to many dental clinic owners. A key driver for further growth will be selective acquisitions of additional dental businesses and the opening of new locations. Advanced work is currently underway to open two new locations and further entities joining the Group will be announced in Q2 2022.
“The CEE dental services market remains highly fragmented and individual players often do not reach their full potential. We are therefore very pleased to have attracted well-known leaders in the field to create a group of clinics that combines a strong local position, reputation and independence with a professional central support service. The expertise and experience of the staff, the relationship and trust of the patients, combined with the knowledge and professional support of a team experienced in building medical organisations, will enable the entities to develop even faster. They will expand the portfolio of services, provide patients with easier access to the highest quality dental care, and be an attractive workplace for dental professionals. Clinics will benefit from assistance in dealing with the challenges of running a dental business. We invite all leading dental clinics to contact us and cooperate,” said Tobiasz Jankowski, CEO responsible for the transaction on behalf of “Innova Capital”.
“This is a great opportunity to be part of a major change in the dental services market in the Baltic States and CEE region. It is great to work with the best dental and business professionals,” commented Simonas Bankauskas, Founder and Managing Director of CLINIC | DPC.
