What better inspiration for new works and projects than success stories? That’s why CLINIC | DPC looked back to count the achievements of the past year. And there were many. There is a reason why we are a member of the White Wave, considered one of the most socially responsible clinics in Lithuania. CLINIC | DPC defends this title not with words, but with actions. So, what’s in the good deeds box in 2019?
- We organised 40 educational lessons for children of all ages. Dentists told school children visiting clinics all over Lithuania about proper dental care, gave them practical knowledge and encouraged them to take a responsible approach to oral hygiene. Doctors and oral hygienists also visited schools and kindergartens. Once again, a big THANK YOU!
- We took part in the social initiative “Let’s meet, dear seniors”. We organized more than 40 free seminars for seniors not only in Lithuania, but also abroad (Latvia, UK). Participants learned about dentures and dental implants. This useful knowledge will help many of them to enjoy a new smile and a fuller life.
- The social project “Every Smile Has a Story” is launched. We are proud and excited about this social action, where 1% of the amount spent by patients goes to people in need of dental care. All the participants of the project have faced great challenges in their lives and we are happy to give them a smile and a better feeling of well-being. Ten participants with unique life stories have already started their journey towards a healthy and beautiful smile.
- We contributed to the Vaikusvajones.lt project and made 30 dreams come true. This project is an opportunity to make the Christmas dreams of underprivileged children come true. 96% of the children in the school have a childhood dream. 96% of the dreams have already been fulfilled, and 4% have been added to the list. You can still make a difference!
- We donated money to the homeless little friends of man – VŠĮ “Penkta koja”. The money will go towards vaccinations, which the animals in the shelter are currently most in need of.
Thank you to all our colleagues, patients and partners who have made it possible to do so much good. We hope that this year will be even bigger and better!
