We would like to inform all patients that this year, the Seimas passed the Lithuanian Republic’s Cash Payment Restrictions Law, which will limit larger mutual settlements and other payments in cash starting from November 1st of this year. According to the law, both businesses and individuals will be restricted from making cash payments exceeding 5,000 euros. While many patients who come to our clinics for minor oral and gingival problems will not find this change in the law a major inconvenience, those who are planning complex and long-term treatments, but do not use payment cards or online banking, may be inconvenienced. For this reason (especially if the treatment will be complex and costly), make sure you have a payment card with a limit of the required amount or the possibility to pay by bank transfer with you when you arrive at the clinic.
